Back in Summer 2021, during the pandemic, the weather was a big influence on CRFT's art. CRFT, who had recently made his return to making music just a month prior, made "Summer Rain" to match the feel and mood of the weather during that time. He produced the track to help listeners relax and be thankful for every day in God's creation, whether rain or shine.
